What is your book about?

Public Speaking Super Powers helps readers unleash their inner public speaking super powers and communicate their message with confidence.

What inspired you to write your book?

The popularity of a blog post I wrote, as well as my love of public speaking.

If you have a business related to your book, tell us about it:

I help women, introverts and shy people unleash their inner content creation superhero and communicate their message with confidence so that they can create a meaningful and fulfilling legacy. I’m the creator of Authorneering (engineering you author-based business) and the C.A.R.M.A. Code, the 5 secrets to living your best life.

What is a typical day like for you?

There is no typical day! I’ve got too much going on.

What do you most enjoy about what you do?

Expressing my creativity and watching other blossom into their potential.

What are some favorite books you’d recommend to our readers?

Nonfiction: Writing for Story by Jon Franklin and Writing to Learn by William Zinsser; Fiction: Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury, Raptor Red by Robert Bakker, and Dragon’s Egg by Robert L. Forward.

What advice do you have to offer our readers?

Read widely — even outside your typical field of interest. You never know what odd juxtaposition will inspire your next great work. Heck, I just wrote an article about mindset inspired by rogue corn!

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I’m shy and introverted, despite being a pretty good speaker on the stage.

What’s next for you?

An audio book version of Public Speaking Super Powers and a 2nd edition of Home Sweet Home Page.
