What is your book about?

My book is a compilation of true stories gathered as I and many volunteers visited seriously ill patients, gifting them with handmade items of comfort. I led the Healing Environments Program at St Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA for over nine years

What inspired you to write your book?

My father-in-law and his nine- month battle with brain cancer.

If you have a business related to your book, tell us about it:

Healing Environments, LLC is my business. I plan to offer healthcare facilities the opportunity to purchase my book in bulk and use my book and its marvelous ideas to help promote their business to potential clients.

What is a typical day like for you?

I’m connecting with former volunteers and crafters, and making new connections to gather their stories and experiences in preparation for my next book. I’m also working with my marketing manager to get my book in front of healthcare, hospice, assisted living admins to promote my book and schedule speaking opportunities in the new year.

What do you most enjoy about what you do?

I’m having a wonderful time getting back in touch with these amazing people who were part of my program from 2008 -2017. And I love meeting and connecting with new people as I show them my beautiful book we created!

What are some favorite books you’d recommend to our readers?

The Path Made Clear (Oprah), anything by Deepak Chopra, one of my all-time standards; Write it Down, Make it Happen ( Henriette Anne Klauser), My Grandfather’s Blessings and Kitchen Table.

What advice do you have to offer our readers?

“A candle loses nothing of its brilliance by lighting another candle” – James Keller. “Whatever you vividly desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon…. must inevitably come to pass” Paul J. Meyer, founder of Success Motivation Institute.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I enjoyed a 30-year career as an interior designer who specialized in Feng Shui.

What’s next for you?

Marketing my book to the healthcare community so in need of the support they can receive from my book. And I’m connecting with people who have stories to share in preparation for my next book. I intend for “Creative Healing Places” to be a series.
