What is your book about? This book shares my journey of personal transformation from five incurables diseases that left me mentally and physically disabled. I no longer have any signs of disease, I no longer need medicine, and no longer need a cane. In addition to my story, I wanted this to be useful for individuals to transform their life.

What inspired you to write your book? Many friends and family were asking about my miraculous transformation. The often asked, “How did this disabled man get away from all these diseases, medicine, and his cane?” This led to the writing of my first book, I Don’t Dwell. I call this book a home study kit; this book contains all my simple daily practices.

Can you describe your writing process? I’m fortunate that I get into flow states. On some days I may write a paragraph and other days, pages. I don’t outline, and just allow the process to unfold naturally.

How did you come to do what you’re doing today? I felt called to serve. When I was told that I was “incurable,” I gave up hope and stopped living a normal life. I want to inspire individuals that they are not hopeless. If they are still breathing, then there are steps that can be taken.

I Don't DwellCan you describe a typical day in your life? A typical day involves writing, meditation, yoga, and helping people out of their inner critic.

What do you most enjoy about what you do? Helping people shift their mindset out of worry and fear. When clients typically come to me they are very worried or depressed about some aspect of their life, and when they leave our session they are smiling and laughing. I help them see that the mind is creating nonsense, and their thoughts are not the absolute truth.

Are there any people and/or books that have inspired you along your journey? In my journey, I never had a book or a teacher. After a significant shift of my mind, I found Eckhart Tolle’s book The Power of Now. This book brought confirmation, since our stories of getting out from the grips of the mental noise were similar.

Can you share something that people may be surprised to learn about you? I can juggle!  When I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, my left arm had no coordination. I have since gained that back through my recovery process.

What’s next for you? I have a few books book ready to be written.  I’m getting constant downloads. A book that builds on The Secret—I channeled the whole book on a flight, and it adds more understanding to the Law of Attraction. A book on grief, and one on miracles.

Is there anything else you would like to add? I share with people that they need to slow down and take time for themselves. I started with five minutes a day, and my life will never be the same. My mantra when I began was “I deserve time to myself.” I had to say that often, as my mind wanted to chase the 1,001 things on my to-do list.
